COMMUNITY SERVICE :A feeling to serve our community & fellow human beings has always been a core value instilled in the students of GDGISN, whether it was the terrible landslides that took place in Almora or promoting cleanliness in Naukuchiatal & Bhimtal. Food & clothes are provided in huge quantities to the unfortunate citizens of surrounding. GDGISN students have played an active part in keeping surrounding & the Naukuchiatal Lake clean.

Our students for many years have been planting trees in & around the campus. The "Go Green" campaign launched in 2012 saw 5 students & 2 escort teachers cycle to New Delhi as part of that programme. The "Global Village" gave participants from 15 countries to work with the students of GDGISN in another cleanliness drive. Social evils like drug abuse etc. Have been highlighted in "Nukkad" style dramas in Nainital & other areas. The school supports the Swachh Bharat, Digital india & Cashless economy where the students conduct various literacy programs.
