G. D. Birla Memorial School

G. D. Birla Memorial School (A Co-Ed. Boarding School, Affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi)  is an English medium residential school situated in the lush green hills of Ranikhet, Uttarakhand. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school, comprising classes IV to XII, is a member of the prestigious Indian Public Schools' Conference and the Round Square International.

The school has been founded by Late B.K. Birla and Late Sarala Birla to immortalise the ideals of Late G. D. Birla, a doyen of Indian industry. Founded on July 8, 1987 G.D. Birla Memorial School was formally inaugurated on August 15, 1987.

Blending Indian cultural values with modern education techniques, the school aims at providing a happy, stimulating and demanding environment where students spend the most important years of their lives. Academic study is important and our students are expected to achieve high standards. They are encouraged to participate in all school activities for all-round development of mind, body and soul.
