2. How many questions are there and what is the total marks structure in AISSEE papers?

For Sainik School Class 6 entrance test, there are 125 questions worth 300 marks (Mathematics 50×3, Language 25×2, GK 25×2, Intelligence 25×2). For Class 9th Sainik School entrance exam, there are 150 questions worth 400 marks (Math, English, Science, Social Studies, Intelligence).

3. What is the AISSEE minimum passing / qualifying marks in each subject and aggregate?

For Sainik School admission, candidates must secure at least 25% in each subject and 40% aggregate to be eligible. For SC/ST candidates, no minimum marks apply, only merit within their category is considered. 

4. How often does the Sainik School question paper pattern change?

The Sainik School exam has the same subjects and sections for Classes 6 and 9, but the types of questions and their difficulty can change each year. Students improve their time management and get used to new patterns when they regularly practise papers from the last 3–4 years, along with solving the latest mock papers.
