The NTA will release the Sainik School answer key 2026 for Classes 6 and 9, around 27–30 days after the exam, on its website, exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/. For AISSEE 2026, students can expect the answer key to be released in February. Along with the answer key, NTA also provides scanned OMR sheets and student responses. 

If students find mistakes, they can challenge questions within 2-4 days by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. Experts review all objections, and if errors are confirmed, NTA corrects them in the final answer key and uses it to prepare the Sainik School Result.

How to Download Sainik School Answer Key?

Parents or students can follow the steps to view and download the provisional/ final answer key of Sainik School 2026 below:

• Access the official NTA Sainik School Society portal, exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/.

• On the homepage, check the “Public Notices” section, where you will find the link to view and download the AISSEE 2026 provisional answer key.

• Click on the link and you will be redirected to a login page, as shown in the image below:

• On this page, you must enter your application number and DOB, along with typing the correct security pin.

• Once done, click on the submit button.

• The provisional answer key will be visible on their screen with a download PDF option on the top right of the screen. 

• Students must download the PDF and take a printout of it, if required. 

Note: To download the AISSEE 2026 final answer key the above-mentioned steps would be followed except that there would be no login required.

How to Challenge Sainik School Answer Key 2026?

The National Testing Agency will release the provisional key with ‘Correct options/answers.’ With the help of the key, students can challenge any answer that they think is wrong in the key but they answered it correctly in their OMR sheets. Once they challenge, they can see it under a new tab called ‘View Challenge on Answer Key.’ If they change their minds, they can use the ‘Modify Claim’ option to undo their challenge(s). 

Candidates and parents can check the stepwise process to challenge the provisional answer key of Sainik School 2026:

• Access the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/.

• On the homepage, click on “Display of OMR Answer Sheets, Recorded Responses and Provisional Answer Keys of AISSEE-2026”.

• Login with your Application Number and Password or Date of Birth, then enter a security pin and click Submit.

• Click on “Click to View/Challenge Answer Key”.

• On the screen, you will see:

  • A table with your personal details at the top.

  • Another table below shows Class/Section, Question Number in order, Correct Option(s), Option ID(s) claimed, and Test Booklet Code.

• If you think the answer is wrong, select one or more of the five checkboxes for the option you want to challenge.

• If you have proof, upload it as a single PDF file by clicking ‘Choose File’.

• After choosing the option, scroll down and click ‘Submit and Review Claim’.

• On the next screen, check the list of answer key options you challenged.

• If you want to change any challenge, click “Modify claims”.

• If you are satisfied, click “Final Submit”.

• Then click “Challenge Answer Key Pay Now”.

• Choose your payment method and pay Rs 200 for each question you challenged. You can pay through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Sainik School OMR Sheet 2026

NTA will upload the scanned images of candidate;s AISSEE 2026 OMR answer sheet and their recorded responses on the official portal of NTA Sainik School Society. Students can check their sheets and responses directly online. If candidates notice any errors in the OMR grading, they can submit an online challenge by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 100 per question. NTA will carefully verify these objections with the actual records. If the challenge is correct, the data will be updated. However, students will not get separate notifications about the result of their challenges, so they must keep checking the website.

How to Challenge AISSEE OMR Sheet 2026?

Parents and aspirants can check the steps below to view and download the Sainik School OMR sheet 2026 for classes 6 and 9:

• Access the official NTA AISSEE website, exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society/. 

• On the homepage, find and click on “Display of OMR Answer Sheets, Recorded Responses and Provisional Answer Keys of AISSEE-2024.”

• Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth, enter the Security Pin, and press Submit.

• Click on “Click to View OMR.”

• Check your OMR answer sheet on the screen.

• Scroll down and press “Click to View/Challenge OMR Sheet.”

• Look at the two tables:

  • The top table shows your personal details.

  • The bottom table shows Class, Question Numbers in order, your Recorded Responses, Responses you claim, and Test Booklet Code.

• The recorded responses are the answers NTA will use to prepare your result.

• If you think any recorded response is wrong, click one of the four checkboxes next to the options given.

• After selecting, scroll down and click “Submit and Review Claim” to move to the next page.

• You will now see a table of the answers you challenged.

• If needed, upload proof in a single PDF by clicking “Choose File.” (Uploading is optional.)

• Review your claims and, if necessary, change them using “Modify claims.” If not, click “Final Submit” and go to the next page.

• Click on “Challenge OMR Pay Now.”

How to Use Sainik School Answer Key 2026 to Calculate Scores?

To check your AISSEE 2026 marks, first download the official Sainik School answer key for your class (VI or IX) from the official NTA Sainik School Society website. Compare each answer you wrote with the key. Mark the correct and incorrect ones separately. For Class VI, give yourself +3 marks for each correct Maths answer and +2 marks for each correct answer in other subjects. 

For Class IX, add +4 marks for every correct Maths answer and +2 for other subjects. Do not deduct marks for wrong answers. Add all section scores together to get your estimated total score and predict your Sainik School result.
