Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya(SKV), Gwalior: Admission

The Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya (SKV) admission process begins with online registration in July for the academic year starting in April.

• The non-refundable registration fee is Rs. 20,050.
• Required documents for registration include the birth certificate, Aadhaar card, and the latest mark sheet.
• The Aptitude Assessment and Interaction are typically conducted in November. 

Age Criteria for SKV Admission: Class VI's minimum age is 10½ years by April 1st of the joining year.

Class-wise Admission Details:

• Classes VI to IX: The admission procedure for these classes involves an All India Level Aptitude Assessment in English, Hindi, and Mathematics. The initial assessment is usually held in November each year, with subsequent assessments conducted in Gwalior to fill any remaining vacancies.
• Class XI: Provisional is offered based on an assessment covering the Class X syllabus. Confirmation of admission is contingent upon achieving the required cut-off score in the board exam results.
   

Required Documents for SKV's Admission:

• Birth Certificate (issued by the municipal department, preferably in English)
• Aadhaar Card
• Previous class mark sheet showing "passed" and "promoted" status
• Original Transfer Certificate (attested for non-CBSE boards)
• Migration certificate (for non-CBSE students entering Class XI)
• Passport-size photograph
• Samagra ID (for Madhya Pradesh students only)

For those using a downloaded registration form, a Demand Draft of Rs. 20,050/- (Rs. 18,000/- for registration + Rs. 2,000/- for prospectus + Rs. 50/- postal charges) payable to "Principal, Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior" should accompany the form. Upon scrutiny of the registration form, the school will issue an admit card for the aptitude assessment, which will include the registration number. Students who do not pass the Class X or Class XII public examinations are not permitted to remain at SKV.
