Dalhousie Hilltop residence is a place where our boarders can feel “at home” at the end of the school day in a space that is their own yet shared with other students. By living where they learn, our boarders develop a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork and accountability along with consistent study habits and time management.

Library is a place where the child initiates his first step towards exploring and enjoying books. Children feel comfortable to read and study in our library. The school management takes care that access is provided to all the adequate, current and necessary resources for not only children but teachers as well. School encourages the staff and students to use these updated resources to perform their best and develop reading as a habit along with cognitive development.

A well equipped Gymnasium with the latest equipment for physical conditioning is available for students of all ages.The gym has yoga and gym mats, bench press and weight machines, pull-up bars and multiple dumbbell sets for the senior students and a full playground complete with swings, monkey bars, slides, etc. is available for the junior students.

Technology plays an integral role in academics and extracurricular life at Hilltop. In 2015 Dalhousie Hilltop School employed a new standard of technology for students and teachers alike. In addition to a remodeled computer lab, with brand new computers equipped with the newest technology, we now provide the staff with ipads, tablets, and broader WiFi access across campus. Students and staff are encouraged to take up independent projects and, with the use of internet, they prepare projects and the best projects are awarded and shared with all the students.

At Dalhousie Hilltop School music and dance more than entertainment and fun. These disciplines teach us history, helps us learn order and structure, supplement our physical education, and connect us with our Indian culture and roots. We carry a variety of instruments from the eastern and western cultures and supply a talented staff who can help the students find their musical voice.
