The main purpose of a school leader is to empower the students, empower the teachers and make everybody own the school and feel proud to be associated with an institute of excellence.
As a school leader, my main aim is to promote a wonderful school culture where value-based quality education is regarded as the main motive of school’s functioning.
We, as a school team, try to create an intellectually stimulating learning environment where utmost importance is attached to ‘highest academic standards’ along with equal importance for sports & games, extra-curricular as well as cocurricular activities. Our aim is to ensure a ‘stress-free, tension-free’ environment in the school where ‘happy learning experience’ of each child is given utmost importance.
We, the VJPS Team, support each other to be creative all the time to facilitate ‘inquiry-based learning’ inculcating critical thinking among the students and facilitating ‘interactive learning’ by devising new methods of teachinglearning’ and thereby carry-on arousing interest for learning among the students. We believe every child is a ‘rock star’. All we need to do is; to infuse confidence in children and inspire them constantly that they are born to ‘celebrate their lives’.
We intend to give them proper meaning of ‘success’ and ‘failure’. As long as they are trying, they are successful. ‘Giving up’ means ‘failure’.
This is what we call as real ‘leadership training’ to be given to the students. We do not encourage meaningless, stupid competition among the children that lead to stress and frustration in the young minds.
Education should make them understand that each has his/her style of learning, pace of learning and taste for learning. ‘Collaborative Learning’ is not possible if children are not accepted without any comparisons.
As ateam, we work on their dream of ‘growing big’. We are committed to respect them and give them their space and freedom. Our motto is: Together we learn, together we succeed’.

Vignana Jyothi Public School (VJPS) is the first institution started by Vignana Jyothi, a non-profit Society, formed in 1991 with the objective of promoting excellence in education, recognizing it as the primary driving force to propel growth and development of the society with ethics.
Vignana Jyothi is a society formed and guided by a group of like-minded persons from various Business/ Professional fields with a high sense of commitment to values and social service. In addition to the school, the society runs Dr. Rama Naidu Vignana Jyothi Institute of Rural Development (DRNVJIRD) which in addition to its Diploma courses provided 6-month free vocational courses for the rural poor, free of cost with free boarding and lodging facilities.
The society also runs the VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET), Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM) and Vignana Jyothi Institute of Arts and Science (VJIAS). The society caters to the educational needs of nearly 14,500 students in its institutions which are recognized for their high standards both in academics and ethical values.
