Admission Rules

A child can be registered at any point of time after his / her birth. Registered candidates, fulfilling the age and other admission criteria, are eligible to appear in the written entrance cum assessment test. Registration does not guarantee admission; it is subjected to the written test conducted by the school. If a candidate fails in the written test or fails to appear in the test on the given date, his / her registration will lapse and the registration fee will be forfeited.

Admission

Pestle Weed seeks a diversified student body that reflects a range of backgrounds, aptitudes and interests. In general, students considered for admission are those who are performing on an average to above average level academically.

After Registration, the candidate has to appear for an entrance cum assessment test followed by an interview with the Principal. Parents will be intimated through telephone or by mail about the date and syllabus of test. Candidates qualifying the test will be granted admission, subject to the availability of seats. However the admission committee reserves the right to select the candidate on the basis of his / her performance in the written test, interview with Principal and his / her aptitude, personality, intelligence etc.

When the candidate is selected for the admission, he / she is required to fulfill all the documentary formalities and pay the necessary fees within a week, failing which the admission committee reserves the right to offer the seat to another candidate in the waiting list. The candidate joining from other school must carry the Original Copy of Transfer Certificate from the previous school. A Character Certificate from the previous school is compulsory for the student joining in Class XI. The date of birth as declared at the time of admission cannot be changed later on. The decision of the Admission Committee will be final in all cases. The Principal is not bound to furnish any reason for the rejection of any application for admission.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION :-

1. Original Copy of Transfer Certificate from Previous School (i.e. Mandatory for all Classes).
2. Original Copy of Character Certificate from the Previous School (i.e. Mandatory for the students joining in Class XI).
3. Photocopy of Student’s Birth Certificate.
4. Photocopy of Student’s Aadhaar Card.
5. Photocopy of Previous Three Years Academic Marksheets.
6. Six Passport Size Photograph of Student.
7. Aadhaar Card Photocopy of both Father & Mother.
8. One Passport Size Photograph of both Father & Mother.
