The scope for co-curricular activities is extensive and wide-ranging and includes clubs initiated by students as well as specialties conducted by outside providers. We are proud to offer around 45 different sports and activities.

TISB has a thriving boarding community which makes up a quarter of our pupils, some of whose parents live abroad and some who live in Bangalore but choose to board. Boarding at TISB is a great way to take advantage of all that the school has to offer, both from an academic point of view as well as the numerous clubs and activities on offer after the school day. Boarding at TISB starts from Grade 5 onwards.

There are many opportunities for students to excel is Art, Drama and Music throughout their time at TISB, whether as a hobby taking part in one of the many clubs on offer, or more seriously at IGCSE and IB levels. Performances in Drama, Art exhibitions and various concerts in Music take place throughout the year to allow friends and family the opportunity to experience the wealth of creative talent at TISB.

The pastoral team headed by Deputy Principal Pastoral ensures that the emotional, physical social, and mental well-being of our boarders are always attended to, helping them to settle into their new environment and are to ensure that they are adjusting to the structure and rigour of TISB Boarding. The DPP and school counsellor lead sessions to create awareness on various topics like anti-bullying, anti-vaping, healthy eating etc. to ensure that all our boarders feel happy, secure and safe. Our staff, both boarding and teaching, are approachable and encourage students to share any issues that may be troubling them. The school has both a full-time Pastoral Coordinator and School Counsellors who students can talk to on a confidential basis.
