Sunny Preparatory School was established in 1963 by Mr. & Mrs. Dattu Phadkar. The school laid a foundation for two generations of children.

Now the school runs under the management of Bengal Education Society. Presently “The Society” has upgraded prep. school to a High school. So it’s present name is Sunny Prep. & High School from 2011.
Phonetics based language training and the basic concept of number counting to a child through various workshops were introduced by Mrs.Phadkar in Sunny Prep. Thereafter this unique teaching methodology was practiced by the group of dedicated teachers in the course of long years.
At present time, along with the traditional teaching methodology, SPHS has adopted latest technology of imparting education, so that the children could reach to the level of perfection in their lives to be a complete human beings.

The school’s ambience helps the children to enhance their thinking ability ,developing the values of humanity, morality, honesty, dedication for excellence in both academic and non – academic activities.
