A healthy stomach is a fodder for a healthy mind. Through our in-house dining facility we try to take care of the same. A hale and hearty youth is the spine of a strong society and in today’s scenario of junk food, we try to inculcate healthy food habits so that they grow physically mighty and mentally wise, bearing the potential to build up a sensible society. Not to mention, instilling eating etiquettes and table manners while doing so. The school provides lunch to the students at no extra cost. Therefore, a mother will not have to get up an hour early to prepare lunch. Instead, this one hour can be used for qualitative purpose like Current news affairs, revisions, personal chitchats etc.

We are proudly the ONLY school in Shimla to have a Robotics Lab to date (2019). Our Robotics classes consist of fundamentals of engineering, core understanding of technology, science of mechanical /electronic systems, programming concepts and logical applied mathematics; which, as per STEM education, plays a pivotal role in developing scientific potential of students. The way of learning at Ivy International is to get involved into a thing and experience it. We don’t just see the things; rather we experience them, so as to inculcate Higher Order Thinking Skills. Set up in 2015, we were the first school in the entire state to have a Robotics Lab , a step which was in tune with our commitment to provide latest technological support in enhancing teaching-learning experience in an ultra modern environment.

We sculpt our learners in ways all unique and for this reason we have categorised our activity clubs so that students get a better exposure to perform tasks of diverse nature. We believe that a child can find his forte in future only when he is provided with varied fields of art and creativity in the present. Each student is a piece of art himself and needs to put forth his talents as learning is not always all about academics and scores. A variety of clubs have been organized to provide fun, excitement and joy of self- expression through music, art & craft, dance, Quiz & drama, etc. The innate talent of all students is nurtured, providing plausible platforms through different activities/clubs - music, painting, dramatics, ecology, dance, public speaking and art & craft.

Sports and games have an enormous importance in the lives of students in general and committed players in particular who get the constant honing that the mind and body are inseverable. Sports activities not only refresh and strengthen the body, but activate and enhance the performance of the mind as well. At Ivy International School, we strive for excellence in sports, and hence we have commissioned the services of sterling coaches who guide them as to how to take up the gauntlet in any competition, and beat the opposition by dint of skills and sportsmanship. We have wide range of indoor and outdoor sports activities in order that all students of the school may enjoy and unwind themselves by choosing to take part in sports and games of their choice. Keeping this in mind, the following are some of the sports facilities offered to the students at Ivy;

Movement is the life of all learning. If one would have to learn,one must be accommodating enough to move towards the availability and source of knowledge and knowhow, using the "modes of transport" available. And, so, we have left no stone unturned to be as supportive as possible to provide the best transport facility, comprising a fleet of buses to cater to the demands of Shimla city and its suburbs. For the utmost care of the students availing the school transport facility, we have well trained and attendants,first-aid boxes and a designated teacher till the last child is dropped. All children wear an l-card which bears details of his/her individual bus route, and the big enchilada is the Almanac issued to the children that lists the details of the escorts/guardians who would drop and receive them at/from their respective transport point. All the buses and routes are well monitored through the GPS system to ensure the safety and well-being of the students. We also have SMS-based information system to keep parents posted in case of unavoidable delays in transport.

What a school thinks about its library is a measure of what it feels about education. There were times when most of the schools wouldn’t have a library since they would have no realisation of the need for one. And even if some of them did, only syllabus related books would be available and only the intelligent kids would step in. But today, ‘Reading’ is not just about mugging course- related material or scoring the highest grades but it has been branched into several other interests. And why not! Didn’t we ever dream of reading books which we would never be judged on? Didn’t we ever wonder if we had other things to read? School can make one literate but doesn’t really teach to read for pleasure. The Ivy library would be the right amalgam of books on current prejudices and different cultures. The inability to solve (3x-4y=9) wouldn’t refrain a budding artist from pursuing the art.
