Inodai Waldorf School is managed by TVF a non-profit organization. Inodai Waldorf School is an initiative by parents and teachers whose children went to a Waldorf School. Inodai Waldorf School started in the year 2011 with a Nursery & a Kindergarten. The foundation is committed to establishing the school upto Grade 12, launching one Grade every year. Currently we are in grade 9. Inodai is a community based school. Parents are an integral part of the school system. They nurture and sustain the school by familiarising themselves with the philosophy of Waldorf education, contributing their services and expertise and being a support to the class teacher in various ways. In nurturing the school's development, parents provide a mantle of warmth around the school. Waldorf schools all over the world are born out of the demands that arise in the community for a meaningful educational system. Similarly, Inodai was born in the year 2011 with three children joining the Kindergarten. Thanks to these brave parents who had such immense faith in the system that they put their children in the care of six like-minded people who were ready to contribute to bring about the change that is the need of the hour. The number went up to 9 in the academic year 2011-12. The next year (2012-13) saw 36 little angels occupy the space in our small nascent school which had only three rooms. In the third year (2013-14) the number grew to 65. Now it was becoming difficult to contain these little divinely cheerful souls in such a small space. In the fourth year (2014-15), Inodai moved to a much bigger premise which had 15 rooms and the number of children also rose to 120 which included a pre-school, Kindergarten, Grades I, II, & III along with a section for children with special needs. The teacher training centre CSETT (Center for Steiner Education & Teacher Training), now, had a separate room for itself. In its fifth year (2015-16), three Kindergarten, Grade I & II were full with 25 to 27 children in each of these classes. Inodai now had 165 children from Kindergarten through Grade V.
