Sports and games are given a great deal of importance at Himalayan International Residential School and towards that end no trouble is too much as far as providing high quality infrastructure is concerned.

A completely residential school, HIRS has top of the order separate hostels for its boys and girls. The Boys’ Hostel contains spacious 7 bed dormitories. The Girls are housed in a separate hostel with 8-bed dormitories. Each hostel is located in its own enclosed compound – with beautiful gardens – for security purposes.

The Information Technology Centre on the first floor is another busy area of the school. In spite of that, it is always cool and quiet – except for the soft whirring of the machines and the tapping of fingers on the keyboards as children get on with their work.

At HRS we are proud of our carefully planned infrastrcuture spread over a 120 acre campus. The whole campus is divided into two part. The first half consists of admin block, school buildings, music and sports rooms and all the necessary outdoor facilities and courts like swimming pool, horse riding track, basketball, badminton, volleyball, football, cricket and much more. The rear side of the campus houses, the residential facilities like the staff quarters, AC hostels for both boys and girls, dining hall and some more outdoor play area for children during their leisure time.
