Admissions are offered in Classes I to IX from mid August. Children seeking admission must sit for a test in English and Mathematics.Parents are encouraged to visit the school. Admission forms are available in the school office. Admission to Class XI is open from March.
ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION:
Admission Procedure includes the Written Test and an Interview. The candidate has to appear for a written test in English, Mathematics, General Awareness and 2nd Language Hindi / Bengali). Admission Interview of the candidate is done in presence of the parents and interaction with the parents is an important part of the admission procedure. The final selection is based on the performance of the candidate both in the Written Test and the Interview. 70% marks of the Written Test and 30% of the Interview marks are taken into consideration.

If a student is to be withdrawn from the School/Hostel anytime, the Parents / Guardians MUST give the school three (3) calendar months’ notice, failing which one full installment will be payable in lieu of the notice. The rule will not be relaxed for any reasons whatsoever.
Transfer Certificate (TC) will only be issued to those students who have studied in the school for at least one full academic year. Students who wish to withdraw after taking the ICSE examination are charged school fees till the end of June if the withdrawal letter is received after 31st March. Any student being withdrawn from Class XI or Class XII after 31st July is charged one full term’s fees.
It is advisable not to withdraw their children from the school they are studying before the admission tests are taken and the results are declared. Parents are requested to abide / respect these school formalities.

Glenhill Public School is the first privately owned ICSE and ISC School in Kurseong affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. Founded by Late Prem Dayal Pradhan in 1985, Glenhill is one of the best equipped schools in the hills. It was established with the intention of imparting high quality education and to build international citizens with good support, sound education, practical advice and all type of assistance was the main areas of interest. Our aim is to ensure that we stand out to be the very best in every field.

In the process, without their being aware of it, a different aspect of their personality emerges and is honed. We try to conduct various competitions and sports with all the nearby school which helps them match their standards with all the schools of the region. The students, including teachers, trek and camp at various predetermined routes chalked out in the Himalayas. A love for nature, a deep seated concern for the environment and a yearning for adventure are often the rewards harvested during these tours.
