Ganga International School(GIS), Delhi: Admission

The Ganga International School admission process welcomes students from Nursery to Class XII. Admissions typically occur between January and July each year. All students seeking admission to GIS School, must register their names during the period announced by the Delhi government. Student merit is the primary criterion for selection.

The academic session at Ganga International School Hiran Kudna runs from the first week of April to March 31st. To prepare for the GIS admission process, students should be ready for the following criteria:

• Classes I to VIII: An interaction assessing the student's subject knowledge in English, Hindi, Mathematics, and General Science from their previous class.
• Class IX: A written entrance test based on the previous class curriculum, covering English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
• Class XI: Provisional admission is granted based on pre-board exam performance until board exam results are declared. Final admission is then determined by board exam merit, as decided by the school.

Re-admission: If a student's name is removed due to unpaid dues or absence without leave for seven consecutive days, re-admission is at the Principal's discretion and subject to seat availability. Re-admission, if granted, will require payment of a re-admission fee and any outstanding arrears.

The following documents are required with the Ganga International School admission application:

• Date of Birth Certificate
• Address Proof
• Photographs: 4 of the child, 2 of each parent, 2 of the guardian, and 1 stamp-size photo
• Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate and mark sheet from the previous school (required for admission to Class I and above)
• Student's Aadhaar Card
• Parent's Aadhaar Card
