Satluj Public School serves a very healthy diet for its pupils, cooked in a hygienic kitchen by outsourced expert catering staff. The menu includes a variety of delicious dishes – North Indian, South Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisines, and sumptuous snacks – followed by an elaborate spread of desserts. The menu is planned in consultation with student hostel committee. Every day, four meals are served: breakfast, lunch, teatime snack, dinner. Discipline and decorum pervade the dining hall and students begin every meal with a prayer/grace.
Pre-Primary classes
Lower Kindergarten (LKG): the child should have completed 2 years 11 Months.
Upper Kindergarten (UKG): the child should have completed 3 years 11 months.
Preparatory: the child should have completed 4 years 11 months.
The age is reckoned as on 1st June of the academic year of admission.
For LKG, UKG and Preparatory, admission is based on the performance in a Student–Friendly & assessment questionnaire, followed by an interview with parents and the pupil with the Principal.
