It is an All Girls’ Military School and the first of its kind in the country.
Admissions are given strictly based on merit and Govt norms.
The Entrance examination held is for admissions to Classes VI and class XI. A few vacancies also come up for filling admissions to Classes VII & VIII (Semi-English & English Medium) and for IX (Only Semi-English). The procedure is, however, the same for all classes.
Girls who are of age between 10 and 11 years as of 01st July of the year in which admission is sought are eligible for the examination for Class VI. A pass in Class V is a must for admission to Class VI and so on.
The child has to undergo the age-appropriate pre-selection toughening Camp Shaurya based on the SSB Pattern for Entrance Test, Medical Examination and Physical Standards test, counselling and a personal interview by a Board of Officers, along with her parents.
All bonafide certificates to this effect are to be mandatorily submitted during the personal interview.
For Classes VII, VIII and IX grant of admission will depend on the availability of seats as per Govt norms.
For Classes VI, VII and VIII a few vacancies for both English and Semi – English Medium are available.
For Classes IX – only Semi – English Medium is available.
For Classes XI – only English Medium (Science Stream) is available.
2. WRITTEN TEST
To secure school admission the students have to appear in a written test of a total duration of 2 hours on 23 March 2025 soon after physical registration or at 1000 Hrs. Rest all training and testing will be undertaken only between 03 to 10 May 2025, as per the following framework. A portion of the exam (written) will be of the current standards in which the ward is studying.( For example : If your ward is applying for Class 6th, then portion for exam will be of Class 5th & for Class 11th portion will be of Std : 10th and likes.) 3. PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST & MEDICAL EXAMINATION
These components will be conducted as part of Pre-Selection Camp Shaurya after adequate exposure to the said physical components. Following is the pattern of said test.
100 Marks – Time taken as required.
In this the student has to complete 100-meter running, Standing Broad Jump, 6 x 10-meter Shuttle Run, 1 Minute Continous Skipping with Rope, Height and Weight will be checked for compatibility with recommended standards and recorded. Any issues of concern will be discussed during counseling.
Note 1:
(a) For Written Test: Duration is 2 hrs. Students should carry a Blue / Black ball pen, transparent writing pad and pouch.
(b) For Physical Fitness Test: Duration is 2 hrs. Students have to wear the Camp Kit and are requested to bring along a sports kit – a Tracksuit (Blue) /shorts + T-shirt, White sports shoes, Full-length white socks and a Skipping Rope of befitting length.

The Final Merit List will be published soon after completion of Pre-Selection Camp – Shaurya which will be governed by the following components :
(a) Written Test
(b) Physical Standards Test
(c) Medical Examination
(d) Personal Interviews & Counseling, and
(e) Govt Norms
Note 3:
Before joining the Camp, candidates may also be prepared adequately on the following :
(a) Participation in games and sports and general physical fitness
(b) Newspaper reading, story writing and telling (Marathi, English & Hindi)
(c) Basics of Mathematics, Science, Spoken English & Public speaking
(d) General idea about the Indian Armed Forces and motivation to join the Armed Forces at a later date.
(e) Age-appropriate General Knowledge.
(f) Concept of a residential school life and general routine.
Note 4:
Parents along with their wards are welcome to visit RLMSS Campus on all Saturdays from 3 PM to 6 PM for briefing, interaction and to get further details.
4. BREAK-UP DETAILS OF TOTAL EXPECTED EXPENSES PER YEAR
Total Yearly Expenses includes – Hostel, Mess, Training in various Military and Sports Activities Personal Expenditure (Stationary, Laundry, Hair cutting, Uniforms, Footwear etc.) and Maintenance.
And Refundable Security Deposit.
The expenses can be paid by the parents at the time of admission in one or two instalments during admission to School.
And No tuition fee is charged.

Kindly ‘Confirm’ the form once ‘Register’ to complete the process. (Once confirmed you can not edit the details again)
