The big, brightly lit and spacious classrooms are a specialty of the school. The Kindergarten classrooms have lovely paintings all along the walls, to make school a cheerful place for the children. Every class has a soft board, where the children can express their talents. The classrooms can make even the most strenuous lessons interesting.

Science cannot be learnt only as theory so in order to enable students to fully comprehend the principles and concepts of science; Little Flower Public School provides three separate spacious laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology equipped with scientifically designed modular work-stations and the latest apparatus is the place for research and experimental learning and also well stocked as per CISCE guidelines. Lab safety being of prime concern, requisite safety measures are in place. Students are provided with safety masks, glasses, gloves and lab coats. The Lab is well ventilated and equipped with fire extinguishers. Students perform experiments only under the guidance of qualified teachers.

The library is an integral part of a student’s learning Curve at Little Flower Public School. Kindergarten and primary school students are privy to a virtual treasure house of books, magazines, charts and models segregated class-wise. Middle and high school students and staff enjoy the privilege of a larger library hosting a plethora of 7,000 plus fiction and non-fiction books, encyclopedias, newspapers, magazines and periodicals in English and vernacular languages. In keeping with the evolving digital revolution, our library also has more than 250 CDs/DVDs which are either played in the AV room or in the Digiboard. Students are encouraged to make optimum use of library hours allotted to the respective classes to inculcate a sense of independent learning within them. Apart from knowledge enrichment, our students are also given a daily dose of contemporary awareness and intellectual vitamins through Newspaper in Education program [NIE] vis-a-viz Times of India, The Hindu and Vijaya-Karnataka newspapers in accordance to their classes.

Little Flower Public School has two full-fledged computer labs for both juniors [Classes 1 to 4] and seniors [Classes 5 to 10]. There are 50 plus computers in each lab, all with contemporary configurations, allowing individual hands-on learning. Children thus get wide exposure in practical aspects of their textbook learning. They gain practical knowledge on software starting from SEBRAN, GCOMPRIS, KIDPIX, SCRATCH for juniors to HTML, Office applications, Database, C++, Java Programming for seniors. Educational computer games allow the junior students to develop their creative, strategic and logical thinking skills. Games on word building improves their vocabulary skills Our senior students carry out various IT related projects like creating webpages, presentations, student database in Access, billing in Excel, Ballot box, Reservation using Java program etc. The students are assessed on their practical skills over regular time intervals via projects and assignments given to them. The computer labs enable children to benefit by preparing for competitions, online tests etc.

The school has a well maintained and adequately staffed infirmary to take care of sick and injured students or staff. The 5-bedded facility has provision for first aid, oxygen cylinders and basic medication for common ailments like fever, cough, cold, sprains etc. Other equipment includes a wheelchair, stretcher, glucometer, nebulizer etc. The infirmary also maintains files for students needing special care along with their medications in consultation with their parents. The cheerful and prompt care provided here has put any ailing student back in action at the earliest. For any situation requiring a higher degree of medical attention, there are 2 reputed hospitals just a kilometre away where a student could be shifted immediately.

The school auditorium is home for all the activities held at school. The annual programs such as Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day, Inter-house competitions, Investiture Ceremony, Debate, Quiz and other programs are conducted here. Programs that are hosted by our school are also held here.

Our school’s transport facility comprises a fleet of well-maintained modern buses; all equipped with Global Positioning System [GPS] real-time tracking and CCTV camera as per government recommended guidelines. The buses have been fitted with speed governors to conform to government guidelines. In addition, each bus trip has a responsible school attendant on board to ensure the monitoring and safety of the children. The bus staff have been sensitised to the school’s stance on student safety. The school also maintains spare buses and drivers apart from two additional vans to address any breakdown in the main fleet buses.
