Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Pawarkheda District Narmadapuram is a central Government driven institution providing high class education making the students realise that each of them is different as a person and as a learner. The institution works on student centric approach which offers rewarding educational experiences to focus on excellence. Here people are valued and can fulfill their potential both as teachers and learners. Our distinction lies in the pursuit high academic attainment through support, encouragement, praise and motivation. We have developed a Samsung Smart Class to facilitate the subject teachers for class room transaction by using audio & vidual teaching aids etc. The Vidyalaya library has more than 10,000 books for students and staff of the Vidyalaya. Its functioning aims at maximum utilization of library books. Games and Sports department is very rich for facilitating on average at SGFI level. Pace–Setting, Coaching Camps and tournaments are organized every year regularly. Health department (Clinic) is well equipped. There are other clubs Reader club, Art club, Literacy club, Science club, Nature club, Sports club & Computer club functioning. Maths Olympiad, Science Olympiad, Cyber Olympiad, Green Olympiad, Cripto Crossword are being given due weightage to encourage students’ maximum participation. Career guidance cell is working in Vidyalaya. Every year students of class X participate in NTSE, students of class XII appears for NEET, JEE and NDA etc. Our commitment on holistic approach where each learner finds identity, meaning and purpose through connection to the natural world with spiritual values, keeps the flame of learning alive.

The 20th Dec, 1987 was the most auspicious day when the foundation stone of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pawarkheda, Narmadapuram was laid down by Hon Shri Motilal Vora, the then present Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. The school campus covers around 20 acres of forested land with its buildings connected by concreted paths and offering spectacular views at every turn. These buildings include the beautiful old Quad, the modern state of art infrastructure and the newly-refurbished student hostels and staff houses. The academic buildings including several classrooms are linked by a computer network. The widespread use of email and an intranet system shrinks the distances and keeps staff, students and administration in quick and easy contact with one another. The Vidyalaya is surrounded by the grove of Ukelipts trees on the main Nagpur - Betul National Highway (NH-69), at Pawarkheda. The school is located on the lap of exotic valley of Satpura Tiger Reserve, at village Pawarkheda, at a height of about 278 meters.
