Our library is more like an integrated knowledge resource centre, stocked with over 4,500 books that include textbook references, leading books on genres like fiction, non-fiction, biographies, science fictions, encyclopaedias, dictionaries and text-books. In addition, our students and staff members also have access to a variety of magazines and journals subscribed by the school. Our library is maintained by a trained, qualified and well experienced Librarian who apart from maintaining decorum of the place, also guides the students with his/her valuable advice when it comes to picking up books.

Our hostel has air-conditioned dormitories with comfortable bunk beds, and provides a complete unit with attached study table and a personal cupboard to students. Other salient features include – a big study room with computers, indoor activity area, neat and clean washrooms and a hygienic and well ventilated dining hall. All security norms are followed carefully with sufficient emergency exits and fire safety equipment. The hostel (and the entire school building) is under 24 hours CCTV surveillance. Uninterrupted power supply with generator backup and full time medical care with a trained nurse and doctor, make for a comfortable stay for the students.

The School has a proper basketball court as well as moveable basket ball ring post. We train our children with basic coordination drills to improve their hands, eyes and leg coordination. Basketball is a game of agility so we especially focus on their fitness by making them do several exercises. We have a separate team for boys and girls to participate in various competitions.

We have a professional tennis court, the only undercover court in U.P. We start to train the children with the basic coordination drill, like ball sense ,bounce sense, air sense, roll sense and speed sense and gradually move on to racquet holding ,swings and follow through, then comes rally, after which they are ready to play matches /tournaments.

We have a clean and hygienic semi-Olympic size swimming pool on our campus. Children are always very excited to go to the pool, especially in the summer. We provide them with a safe and encouraging environment to learn swimming. Both male and female trainers with lifeguards are there for training and supervision. We have two separate changing rooms for boys and girls. We have a team of professionals to keep the pool neat and clean. We have a small splash pool as well for our cute little pre-primary students. We ensure complete supervision for the safety and security of the children. GD Goenka Public School helps children with extraordinary potential to perform well in various competitions.

Deciding who is the winner and who is the loser is not the ultimate objective. Karate is the form of martial art for the development of character through training. Karate is a sport which can surmount any obstacle, tangible or intangible. GDGPS has a karate-DO (hut) for practice which is amazingly beautiful, surrounded by green creepers. Everybody knows that how important self defense is these days. So keeping that in mind we train them to be more confident in personal safety especially girls. We teach them various techniques to protect themselves in any difficult situation. We also train them to participate in competitions as well.

At GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow, we are proud to offer a comprehensive outdoor game facility dedicated to the sport of shooting. GD Goenka Public School is the only school in Lucknow that has a shooting gallery on campus. Our shooting range is meticulously designed to provide a safe and controlled environment for students to hone their marksmanship skills. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and overseen by experienced instructors, our shooting range adheres to strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of our students.

In order to provide the best primary medical care to the students an infirmary is located in the school. The school infirmary is open 24×7 and has fully equipped ambulance on call. For all medical emergencies, the school has tied-up with many prominent hospitals of Lucknow.
