Well stacked library with open bookshelf system. It includes children encyclopedias, Journals, Magazines, Stories, illustrated picture books, educational CD's and exclusively developed software programs. very efficient Librarian is in charge of Library The library caters to the interests of the students and boasts thousands of books. The Students library card which gives them the right to issue books from the library. Reference books, magazines and periodical publication are to be read in the library only. Students issue books and increase their knowledge in various friends. The library in not only will stock but even fully computerized. The student is taught to respect the value of the books and abide by the rules of library. Activities related to reading and writing is periodically conducted to install the habit of reading.

An elaborate optional transportation system under the guidance of teachers is available to take students from and to their homes. All buses are equipped with mobile phones, CCTV & GPS System. In case of indiscipline the child can be debarred from availing this facility. Students can avail the school transport arrangements subject to the availability of seats and the nearest boarding point. Transport facilities are provided for the convenience of the students, although it is not an obligatory service of the school. Students travelling by the school bus should compulsorily be in proper school uniform and must carry their ID card along with them. Children should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives. Misbehavior in bus will be dealt seriously by the school authorities.

A hallmark of science is that it generates theories and laws that must be consistent with observation. Much of the evidence from this observation is collecting during laboratory investigation. A school laboratory is defined as an experience in the laboratory, class room, or the field that provides students with opportunities to interact directly with natural phenomena or with data collected by other using tools, materials, data collection techniques, and models. Through the process, students should have opportunities to design investigation, engage in scientific reasoning, manipulate equipment, record data, analyze results, and discuss their finding. These skills and knowledge, fostered by laboratory investing action, are an important part of injury the process of asking question and conducting experiments as a way to understand the natural world. While reading about science, using computer simulation, and observing teacher demonstration may be valuable, they are not a substitute for laboratory investigation by students. The school is well equipped with science laboratories that provide an open environment for students to experiment and do research work. In higher classes the science are studied under branches like Biology, Physics and Chemistry. At Duhan Public School we have well equipped science and spacious laboratories with ultra-modern equipment.
