Dalhousie Public School, Chandigarh: Admission

Admission Process

Dalhousie seeks school-age students at two campuses: the Dalhousie Campus in Himachal Pradesh (full boarding) and the New Chandigarh Campus in Punjab (day, weekday and full boarding). Nursery to Class 10.

Step 1: Registration

Parents complete the registration form with the child’s details, parent/guardian information, current school and the grades applied for. Non-refundable registration fees apply. A FAQ fee is charged during this step. The admissions team reviews the application before moving to the next stage.

Step 2: Interaction or Assessment

Up to Class 8 no entrance test is required. Grade 9 onwards, students complete an entrance or diagnostic assessment, which helps the school understand the child’s current academic level and readiness for the programme.

Step 3: Admission Decision

The admissions team reviews the outcome with the family and guides them through the next formalities.

Step 4: Documents and Fees

Admission is confirmed once the required documents are submitted and the admission fee and first instalment are paid.
