Corvuss American Academy is the first of its kind boarding school in India for student athletes. We are committed to helping girls and boys, who are talented in sports develop their skills, pursue an internationally recognized academic degree and leverage their athletic and academic abilities to pursue admissions in colleges globally. Corvuss opened its doors in October 2020. Borrowing from best practices of US prep schools and academies in Europe, Corvuss has developed an integrated program, which combines academics, sports and life skills training for students from grades 6 to 12. The school provides elite training in seven sports - Basketball, Cricket, Football, Squash, Swimming, Tennis, Track and Field - which have been developed under the mentorship of our internationally renowned sports partners. Our experienced international coaches live on campus and oversee the training programs as well as run sports camps and workshops. Our onsite Sports Science Centre comprises of Physiotherapy & Rehab, Strength & Conditioning and Nutrition. These services work together, obtaining all the relevant information about the student athlete in order to develop a holistic and customized plan to help them maximize their potential. Students will pursue the American Curriculum at Corvuss. The Middle school program is designed to build core competencies and foster virtues such as independence, self-discipline, teamwork, and creative thinking. Middle School (grades 6-8) students will study English, Math, Science, Social Studies and a World Language. In the 8th grade, subjects like Science of Fitness will be added to the core curriculum. The Corvuss High School Diploma program consists of four years (grades 9-12) of fulltime study with a minimum of five subjects each year. This includes four years of English, Math, Science and Social Studies. Students will also be required to complete two years of World Language study and two years of elective courses selected from amongst Economics, Entrepreneurship, Government/Civics and Healthcare. The US High School Diploma is widely accepted across colleges in the US and around the world. The 44-acre, modern Corvuss campus is located in Karjat, Maharashtra, close to Mumbai and Pune. Surrounded by lush trees, and views of the Matheran hills, our campus is a self-sustaining haven for student athletes. The safety of student athletes and every member of the Corvuss community is important to us. Our campus design, rules and regulations and use of technology ensure that our student athletes are immersed in a world-class environment in which they can grow and thrive.
