Christ School

Christ School, Bengaluru is a Christian minority institution with all the rights and privileges granted by the constitution of India. The school is an unaided institution recognized by the department of education, Karnataka. It is managed by the fathers of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) who run hundreds of educational institutions of national and international repute including Christ University. The School is governed by a registered body ‘Christ Educational Trust’ Bengaluru.A new section which is proposed to be affiliated to CBSE board was begun in June 2017, under the Principalship of Rev. Fr. Augustine Paimpallil CMI, Rev. Dr. Martin Mallathu CMI led Christ School from May 2018 to March 2020. Rev. Fr. Sebastian Elanjickal assumed the office of the Principal in September 2020. It has above 1200 students in the current academic year from grade I to VII. As a new campus of Christ School at Kumbalgodu, in ICSE stream was inaugurated on 25th February 2018 under the Principalship of Rev. Fr. Augustine Paimpallil CMI, and it is now in steady progress with serene atmosphere conducive for study, wider ambiance for the fuller development of the curricular and cocurricular activities, and effective system of personal attention to guide and lead the children for their fuller growth and transformation. At Christ, the students are encouraged to be creative, reflective, and value based motivated learners. Individual talents of the children are spotted, nourished and encouraged. Along with rigorous academic programme, training in a variety of co-curricular activities empowers the students with a holistic education, preparing them to be successful leaders for better tomorrow.
