Cardinal Gracias High School

Cardinal Gracias High School was founded on 12th June 1961 and has been managed by the Norbertine Fathers since 1964. The Nortbertine Fathers vowed to seek Christ by living in common, sharing all things in holy poverty, and dedicating themselves to ministering to God’s People. The St. Norbertine Priory in Mumbai manages the Cardinal Gracias High School, St. Joseph The Workers Church and a social Service center (Bandra East Community Center) in Bandra East. It also manages a parish and social service center in Nerul, besides a priest home in Mangalore.Vision: The main purpose and object of the school is to make your child a good, honest, diligent and industrious, self reliant and resourceful, honest and truthful, just and fair in dealing with all, ever keeping the joy, that God gives to sinless hearts, and sharing joy with others, please help us in this great and noble task. “Children cannot be made good by making them happy, but they can be made happy by making them good” Our Scholastic theme: “Laying foundation for vibrant generation”

Vision

Fully rooted in Indian culture and values, inspired by the self less love of Jesus Christ, and through the inspiration of the School patron Cardinal Gracias, aim  to develop in every child a holistic personality, and prepare them to be modern and global citizens. Creating a Conducive atmosphere and providing  adequate opportunities to develop their full potentials. Fully merging curricular with co-curricular and extracurricular activities to attain a fully developed personality. Forming individuals to be  spiritually rooted, Physically fit, emotionally balanced and intellectually bright.  To form them to be to be fully  human and fully  alive individuals who are assets to the family, to the society and to the world at large.
