Padma Shri Bhavarlal H. Jain
Founder
Shri Bhavarlal Hiralal Jain (Bhau) was born in Wakod, Jalgaon district, Maharashtra on 12th December 1937. Bhau’s primary schooling was at Wakod, later he went to Jalgaon to complete his schooling. He passed his Secondary School Certificate Examination from Raosaheb Rupchand School, Jalgaon in 1957. He completed his B.Com degree from the University of Bombay in 1961 and further proceeded to complete his LL.B degree at the Government Law College, Churchgate, Bombay in 1962.
Despite qualifying in the Maharashtra State gazetted officers’ exam, he chose to opt for a career in business. This was rather an unusual step for a young man whose forefathers had migrated from Rajasthan to Maharashtra in the 1890s in search of greener pastures. Bhau’s business acumen was evident from the very beginning. He started his business under favourable circumstances.
In a span of one and a half decades, 1963 – 1978, a firm foundation for a lasting enterprise with a vital difference was laid.
A family owned enterprise was shaped to become a corporate institution. The opening team acquired consummate marketing skills, versatility to build different businesses, and a businesslike approach towards trading partners. These attributes were additions to the innate qualities of thrift, hard work, simple family living, and commitment towards social responsibility. On 5th May 2008, Bhavarlal Jain was commemorated with the prestigious Padma Shri Award by Government of India in Rastrapati Bhavan, Delhi for his invaluable contribution towards “Science and Engineering”.
On 25th February 2016, Shri Bhavarlal Hiralal Jain passed away at the age of 79 after a brief illness at a hospital in Mumbai.
He was a man of small ideas which created big revolutions. He practiced what he preached and he built his entire business on a foundation of inclusiveness and sustainability over the last five decades.
“Anubhuti is the long-cherished dream come true for Padma Shri Dr. Bhavarlal H. Jain, the visionary Founder Chairman of Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd.”
Atul B. Jain
Chairman
Education in schools is being revitalized as methodologies that industrial revolution imposed on schooling have now taken a back seat. Modern thinkers… be it Piaget, Steiner, Montessori, Krishnamurthy, Skinner, Gardner or even Gandhiji… have brought in new perspectives culminating in the new pedagogies that have now adorned educational initiatives world over.
Anubhuti, the very name, defines Experiential Learning and Holistic Approach to education. The founder chairman saw to it that Anubhuti is fully furnished to give its pupils opportunities to pursue their talents in a variety of activities…. Arts & Crafts, Music, Dance, Drama, Sports, Yoga, Nature study, Astronomy and many more.
The present pandemic which has impacted the entire world has opened new avenues for Education. The old has no alternative but to yield to the new. One needs to be open to accept change and adapt to the new norm. It shall be the endeavor of Anubhuti to do all it can to adapt to these changes cautiously but consciously that the values that have stood the test of time, are never compromised with.
It is my firm belief that Anubhuti will emerge a strong force to reckon with as it stands on terra firma to withstand winds of change.
Nisha Anil Jain
Director
Education is a passage to freedom from the shackles of ignorance. In today’s dynamic world, education is an asset. Here, at Anubhuti , we strive to provide experiential learning. However, holistic education does not end at learning.
We make sure that our students are rooted in the values of Indian culture and, yet maintain a global outlook. It is our promise to make them not only ‘successful’ human beings but also ‘good’ human beings. Anubhuti is an initiative towards creating tomorrow’s world leaders; leaders who are willing to change this world for the better.
Till now we have had a remarkable journey. Anubhuti has won awards in all the fields from academics to sports to environment. The Anubhuti family is proud of its students and their endeavors.
Debasis Das
Principal
A warm and hearty welcome to all the viewers of the website of Anubhuti International Residential School!
Children are born with extraordinary powers of imagination, intelligence, feeling, intuition, spirituality and physical and sensory awareness. The constructive and dynamic environment of Anubhuti, nurtures their potential.
Tomorrow’s world will be shaped by today's child. The future for education is not in standardizing but in customizing. It is proved in a laboratory study, people with high anxiety levels had difficulty in learning, especially in threatening situations. Anxiety has long been thought to interfere with learning.
Anubhuti provides a sensible environment to express emotions, creativity and aptitude of the students. We provide the opportunity to discover what they can do. We never aim too high for students because we don’t want to miss it, but we divide the big aim in chunks, and we reach it. Our learning environments are set up to promote students’ thoughts, discussions, questions, ideas, interest and creativity.
Anubhuti leads to fulfilment by oneself of the possibilities of one’s character or personality. We, in association with parents, explore the potential of the child. Parents are their first teachers, and they have a key role in shaping up their children’s character. A balance of education at home and school cultivates students' actual learning.
Our task is to educate our students’ whole being so they can face the future. When people are in their true nature, they connect with something fundamental to their sense of identity, purpose and well-being.
In Anubhuti, the role of an educator transcends the role of those who merely follow a specific lesson plan and work schedule. Because both students and educators spend as much time together, educators inadvertently become external parents in school and hostel. Our educators act as mentors to help set the child on the right path. In this role, the educator can encourage the students to be the best they can be, and be a source of inspiration to the students.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation for all of the hardworking and dedicated educators and staff serving the school.
G. Jayaprakash Rao
Senior Advisor
Our school, Anubhuti, is the realization of one dream, a dream that crystallized into reality only because of the sheer grit and determination of our visionary Founder Chairman, Padmashri Dr. Bhavarlal Jain. It is with a mixed sense of humility and honor that today, we find ourselves amongst the top schools of India not just in terms of teaching and learning, but also with regard to the well-being and holistic development of our students.
At Anubhuti, every child placed in our care is precious and we aim to provide the best possible environment for the child to grow in a secure, safe habitat where they may weave their dreams and grow.
The philosophy of the school is based upon the Statement of Purpose, which provides the fountainhead from which our students’ dreams take flight, for it combines a strong belief in service with compassion and an underlying awareness of the greatness of our own culture.
Situated as we are in a lush green campus with first class teaching facilities, we are fortunate to have a talented and dedicated team of educators, along with committed support staff who make sure that our learning environment is the best. It is in this ambience that our students imbibe their education.
We offer an academic programme that merges the breadth and depth of subject matter, which is rigorous but is also designed to meet the needs of each individual student. To prepare our children for the future, we motivate them to work towards excellence in personal discipline.
It is our endeavor to groom our children for life by making them well rounded individuals, who will be able to contribute to the society they live in; who shall set out to leave the world a better place than they found it.
