- The parents of eligible students are informed about the date and venue of written test. If qualified, the parents are informed about the time and venue of interview. Both parents and students are interviewed.
- No written test or formal interview is required for admission to Nursery. Medical examination and hygiene check are compulsory.
- If the candidate fulfills the above criteria, admission fee and the first installment of fee are required to be deposited which are non refundable .

Who we are
Setup amidst serene and picturesque ambience in the lower Himalayas of Himachal Pradesh, the Akal Academy New Campus at Baru Sahib, is a globally renowned educational institution imparting high quality value based education.The Academy , inter alia , offers two most sought after academic streams, International Baccalaureate (IB) and the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). Akal Academy has been the first institution to set up an IB authorized world school in 2013 in Northern India, which also has the Cambridge International affiliation. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is available for the age group from 3 to 11 years( Nursery to Grade V) and the Cambridge Programme is available for the age group 11 to 19 Years (Grade VI to XII) .The IB School , the first one so far in Himachal Pradesh has undergone two successful evaluations in 2017 and 2022.
The IB PYP emphasis on inquiry based learning and hands on experience where specially trained educators follow challenging classroom syllabus and prepare students to be committed, creative and compassionate citizens of the world. It nurtures a commitment to learning as a life long process, challenging students to take thoughtful action with their newly acquired knowledge and skills.
The CAIE curriculum prepares school students develop strong curiosity and Cambridge Pathway gives students a clear path for educational success from age 5 to 19.The Akal Academy New Campus at Baru Sahib offers Cambridge Primary, Cambridge lower Secondary, Cambridge upper Secondary and Cambridge Advanced Programme covering a wide range of subjects and using flexible ways to offer them.
