Smt. Rajkumari Chaturvedi
Founder
Smt. Rajkumari Chaturvedi, inspired by the lessons of selflessness and kindness imparted by her Guru Gurudev Sant Shri Nandlal, had a strong desire to build a school to provide equal opportunity in education to students from all sections of the society. She believed educating young minds helps them become self-reliant throughout their lives and create a better world for all, since education is the most important step towards an egalitarian society.
With this visionary philosophy, Smt. Chaturvedi donated a piece of land in the Palam area in Delhi. With financial and emotional support from other women, she laid the foundation stone of SSNLSVMS on May 29, 1984.
She took the responsibility of supervising the construction of the school while working full-time at RBI. Thanks to her sincerity and dedication, the construction of the school was completed in a short span of time and was inaugurated on 11th January 1985 by nine-year-old Rahul Saraf.
