Jyothi Composite PU College

Jyothi Composite P.U. College was started on 01.07.2002. Sr M Louisia BS was the first Principal from 2002-2003. Sr Georgina BS took up the charge as Principal from 2003 to till date. She made it her goal to impart quality education by appointing competent staff, providing in-service training for the teachers, and availing opportunities for extra - curricular activities to develop the potential of the students in various fields. The religious Congregations from the neighbourhood prefer to send their candidates to Jyothi College as it provides a suitable environment for their studies and formation. Year by year the result is improving because of the dedicated and experienced staff who bring up the average students, who come from the BPL families. Every year Sampoorna College of Education sends 4 to 5 student trainees for Counselling. It is really a great help to mould our students coming from the disadvantaged families. As and when possible new schemes, such has Shakespearean Festival, District Level Football Tournament, Quiz and other competitive programmes are taken up by the College.
