The college was started under JYOTHI EDUCATION SOCIETY. By the secretary and founder member Sri H.Ranganatha and head mistress Smt. R. URMILA, guided by academic advisor Sri Prahalada Rao. The society constitutes able person well versed in social service. To meet the academic challenges of today and also ensure high quality education, a team of professors with excellent academic background and rich experience have come together and established JYOTHI PU COLLEGE in Yeshwantpur, bangalorejyothi pu College has completed years of its existence, let me state here that within this short period , we have grown ourselves into a matured institution to the satisfaction of everyone. jyothi pu College is a Mission seeking to realize itself at the service of God and humanity. Specifically, (JPC) seeks to “form intellectually competent, professionally skilled, spiritually evolved, morally upright, socially responsive, and culturally tolerant citizens, through holistic Claretine education, for the creation of a civilization of love.”To provide for value-based, meaningful and productive education. To offer traditional, professional and employment-oriented regular courses and innovative add-on courses that will equip the youngsters for effective and fruitful personal and professional lives. To provide for on-going training, research and documentation at the service of knowledge and life enhancement, and community and nation building. To create a scientific temper, research rigor, holistic vision and leadership skills at the service of building up a better society. To impart basic human values of peace, love, justice, compassion, community mindedness and a life of gratitude in the younger generation.
