Holy Convent Sr. Sec. School

The Holy Convent Sen. Sec. Uttam Nagar is a CBSE affiliated co-educational institute. Established in 2001, the school has made a name for itself by incorporating innovative teaching methods into the school curriculum to empower our students.

As an institution, The Holy Convent Sen. Sec. Uttam Nagar attaches great importance to a varied programme of activities so students can learn beyond the four walls of the classroom. These are designed to develop important traits like honesty, self-confidence, creativity, teamwork and diligence, and to hone the intrinsic talents of our students. The proper use of library facilities, debates and quiz contests, dramatics, music and dance – Western and Indian and excursions are some of the cultural as well as educational activities that are encouraged in the school.

Library

The school has a well-maintained library with about 12,000 books on diverse genres such as textbooks, fiction, sports etc along with several educational magazines such as Outlook, Competition Review etc and three different daily newspapers. There is a mandatory library period for each class to promote reading habits among students.

Labs

The school has well equipped and spacious science labs that are fitted with modern gadgets needed by children for experiments . Here, scientific attitude is developed along with ability to analyse, collate, compute, integrate and deduce. Logic and reasoning are the skills that develop in these rooms that will go a long way in ensuring success in later life.
