This Institution, presently nurturing thousands of young learners, was itself born of a Vision, as seen by our Founder and Pro Vice Chairman Late Shri Vineet Nayyar. An accomplished leader, Mr. Nayyar had a glorious career spanning over 50 years in the annals of Central Administration and the Indian Business Sector. He led several organizations across industries creating high performing teams in the Government, International Multilateral Agencies and the Corporate Sector both Public and Private.
A well-educated man, he completed his Master’s degree in Development Economics from Williams College, Massachusetts and started his career with the Indian Administrative Service in 1961.While in the Government, he held series of senior positions including that of a District Magistrate, Secretary, Agriculture & Rural Development, Government of Haryana and Director Department of Economic Affairs, Government of India. Mr. Nayyar worked with The World Bank for over 10 years in a series of senior assignments, including successively being the chief for the Energy, Infrastructure and the Finance Divisions for East Asia and Pacific.
He set his sights on the emerging IT Sector and took over as the Managing Director of HCL Corporation Ltd and the Vice Chairman of HCL Technologies Ltd. He left a mark of his expertise after he joined Tech Mahindra and successfully transformed it into one of the leading IT firms globally. In October 2018, Mr Nayyar was appointed as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of crisis-hit Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services (IL&FS) by the government.
He was awarded the Ernst and Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year [Manager]’ for the Year 2013. He was also featured as one of the Top 20 Best Indian CEOs awarded by Business Today in 2015.
The love for education was always there in his heart throughout these decades of professional successes, and he established DPS, GBN in 2012 - a leading CBSE School in Noida. In his retirement years, he spent a lot of time being involved in the School activities and interacting with Students.
His Vision of a healthy, happy and skilful learner who will serve as responsible citizen, empowers all the endeavours of this School. He was, is and will be an unending source of inspiration and knowledge for all teachers and students.

We selected DPS 132 mainly because of its long reputation, but after admission i found some things better than expected and some still evolving. Initial communication during the first few weeks felt a little overwhelming because there was a lot of information to process. After that everything became much smoother.

mera beta football ka bahut shauk rakhta hai aur isi wajah se humne is school ko seriously consider kiya tha. sports facilities kaafi achhi hain. coaches bhi motivate karte rehte hain.

My son is in middle school and recently started attending sessions conducted by the career guidance team. At first i thought it was too early, but surprisingly they focused more on helping students understand different career options rather than creating pressure. I appreciate that approach. Sometimes school events make the schedule a little busy, but overall i think children benefit from these experiences.
