Admission Process
Admissions are processed throughout the year as vacancies arise and are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis by application number. The admissions officer also arranges school tours. And so we recommend parents to reach out to the school for clarification on this. The admission process is mentioned below:
Contact the admissions officer. Based on seat availability, the officer sends a link to the online application form.
Complete and submit the application online, uploading the documents requested within the form.
Sit the diagnostic assessment. Applicants for Grades 1 upwards take an assessment to determine the child’s academic level, testing the previous year’s first-term syllabus. Diagnostic assessments are typically conducted in mid-January.
Attend the interaction. Selected candidates meet the Principal, Headmistress, or Admissions Officer. The interview focuses on physical and mental fitness so the child can integrate seamlessly into the class and on a shared belief about the child’s education between parents and school.
Receive the admission offer letter. On passing the selection process, an offer letter is sent to the parent.
Pay within one week. The processing fee and the first installment of academic fees must be paid within a week of the offer, or the admission offer lapses automatically.
Submit the signed declaration form (part of the offer letter) along with a copy of the child’s Aadhaar card. A welcome letter from the school then completes the process.
Submit the printed admission form with supporting documents within 7 days of the child joining school. Non-submission within the stipulated period cancels the admission.
Assessments Study
Grades 1 to 9 are tested on English, Mathematics, Science, second language and Kannada, drawn from the previous year’s first-term syllabus.
Grade 11 applicants are tested in the subjects of the stream they have applied for.

Playgroup: 3 years and above
LKG: 4 years and above
UKG: 5 years and above
Grade 1: completion of 6 years by 31st May of the admission year
Documents Required
Deens takes a two-stage approach to documentation. Most documents are uploaded within the online application form itself. Beyond those, the school specifies:
•A signed copy of the Declaration form, which forms part of the admission offer letter.
•A copy of the child’s Aadhaar card.
•A printed copy of the admission form together with supporting documents, to be submitted within 7 days of the child joining school.
Non-submission of the admission form and related documents within the stipulated period will cancel the admission process.

Withdrawal Policy
Deens has a detailed withdrawal and transfer certificate procedure. We would advise parents to make a note of the deadline of January, as missing it carries a financial penalty.
The transfer request must be addressed to the Founder Principal with both parents or legal guardians marked on the email. A Transfer Certificate cannot be issued without the agreement of both parents.
Parents must inform the school of a decision to discontinue for the next academic year by the end of January. Failing to intimate withdrawal by 30th January makes the parent liable to pay the first term fee of the next academic session or a fine.
Transfer Certificates and Bonafide Certificates are issued 10 days after a written request is made to the Principal, with a copy to the admissions office.
The Transfer Certificate and SATS TC are issued on payment of Rs 200 each, after all dues to the school have been cleared.
If a child is withdrawn mid-session, the whole year’s tuition and transport fees (where applicable) must be remitted before the TC can be issued.
The student and parent ID cards must be deposited with the school before the TC is collected.
Any other certificate requires a written requisition and a payment of Rs 50.
Online payments can be remitted to the fees account of the relevant branch, with transaction details shared with the Administrative Executive to process the request.
Life at School
Life at Deens Academy is based around the idea that sports, arts, and community service are a part of the curriculum rather than extra. Sports, Indian and Western dance, theatre, yoga, Indian and Western music, and art and craft are compulsory for every student from Grade 1 onwards, and children selected into school sports teams receive specialized training from middle school. Quiz, library and environmental awareness programs run alongside.
The school assembly is treated as a teaching instrument in its own right. Assemblies are hosted both grade-wise and house-wise and are designed so that every child addresses the gathering at least once during the year. While the younger students present values drawn from stories and mark festivals such as Independence Day, Dussehra, and Christmas, the senior students choose a topic they care about and deliver a student talk. Each grade also presents a special assembly with a song, skit, and sometimes dance, attended by parents.
Beyond the timetable, students run a Math Club led by Grade 11, take part in Model United Nations, debates and a stock exchange simulation on campus, and compete externally in inter-school competitions, MUNs, quizzes, science fairs and district-level events. Learning is taken off campus regularly through experiential field trips.

About Us
The Deens Academy is a CBSE school established in 2006 in Whitefield, Bangalore. It is run by the Deens Education Trust and sits within two kilometers of ITPL, spread across four acres in a quiet neighborhood. The campus is built in a natural brick finish, with spacious, well-lit, and ventilated rooms and landscaped grounds full of courtyards, fruit trees, and flowering plants.
The school's objective is to give every child a strong foundation for life so that he or she can thrive as a dynamic and well-adjusted citizen of the world. The school motto is Route to Excellence, and each academic year carries its own theme.
The school is organized into five stages: a kindergarten section called KiDeens covering playgroup, LKG, and UKG; primary school for Grades 1 to 4; middle school for Grades 5 to 7; senior school for Grades 8 to 10; and senior secondary for Grades 11 and 12.
