- Admission to Grades IX & X is strictly based on merit.
- Kindergarten admissions are very limited; seats are allotted on availability.
- No child less than 5 years of age (at the time of admission) is admitted to Std. I. A corresponding age scale applies for higher classes.
- Transfer Certificates from other states must be counter-signed by the inspecting authority of that state.
- The school reserves the right to refuse admission or continuation of any pupil without assigning reasons, especially in cases of unsatisfactory conduct or lack of academic progress.

The school was founded by Sri.L.Sachidananda Prasad in 1980 at Vijayanagar. Sree Vasavi Vidya Peetha initiated with one student and a teacher with one class room. At present around 500 students are being educated in this institution from Pre-Nursery to Standard 10th. The school has very qualified, experienced and committed teaching faculty. The school has an excellent Physical Infrastructure with spacious and well ventilated class rooms.SVVP promotes academic excellence through quality education by equipping students to become faithful servants, honest leaders, morally and socially empathetic individuals.
