The school physics lab for classes 9 to 12 serves as an experiential hub to complement theoretical learning, emphasizing hands-on exploration and experimentation. It aims to fortify students' understanding of fundamental laws and concepts governing the physical world. Through a diverse array of experiments covering mechanics, optics, electricity, and more, students engage in practical applications of theoretical concepts. They conduct experiments on motion, electricity, magnetism, and optics, fostering a deeper comprehension of principles like Ohm's law, Newton's laws, and Snell's law. The lab cultivates a scientific temperament by encouraging inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Students design experiments, analyze data, and draw conclusions, honing their scientific inquiry abilities. Emphasis on precise measurements, equipment handling, and safety protocols ensures a disciplined and responsible approach to experimentation. Ultimately, the physics lab plays a pivotal role in igniting curiosity, nurturing analytical thinking, and preparing students for scientific pursuits in their academic and professional lives.

IT labs in Mehta Vidyalaya provide students with hands-on experience in information technology and computer science. School has well-equipped IT labs that enhances students' technical skills, foster creativity, and prepare them for the digital challenges of the future. There are three IT labs in the school fully equipped with computers, printers, networking and internet. Students from classes I to XII use these labs for hands on experience in various software packages and programming languages. The department also has one Robotics lab and 2 Multimedia Rooms for promoting ICT basedt eaching. Further we also have a Resource Centre for use by teachers. Coputer Clubs ‘Techedge’ and Robotics Club ‘TechBotix are constituted with executive members consisting of students from different classes.Apart from this inter and intra school IT Competitions for different levels and National Cyber Olympiads are also conducted annually to foster IT skills in students.

The school Biology laboratory for classes 9 to 12 serves as a hub for hands-on practical experimentation, fostering a robust scientific temperament among students. Designed to complement theoretical learning, these labs provide a dynamic environment for students to engage in live demonstrations, experiments, and investigations. With a focus on reinforcing concepts taught in the classroom, the lab offers experiments on genetics, physiology, ecology, and more. Students conduct dissections, observe microscopic organisms, and perform various tests, cultivating essential skills like observation, analysis, and critical thinking. The practical approach enhances understanding and retention, encouraging students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. It nurtures scientific curiosity, problem-solving abilities, and the spirit of inquiry. Under the guidance of teachers, students learn proper handling of equipment, safety protocols, and accurate recording of data. The lab experience not only supports exam preparation but also instills a passion for biology, inspiring future scientists and innovators.

The school chemistry lab for classes 9 to 12 is an immersive environment designed to augment theoretical knowledge with practical application. It provides a hands-on experience where students engage in experiments, demonstrations, and chemical analyses. This approach aims to fortify their understanding of chemical principles and reactions. Through various experiments spanning stoichiometry, titrations, and qualitative analysis, students grasp fundamental concepts such as chemical bonding, equilibrium, and reaction kinetics. They gain proficiency in handling laboratory apparatus and measuring instruments, developing crucial lab skills and precision in observation. The lab promotes scientific temper by encouraging inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Students analyze experimental outcomes, draw conclusions, and correlate them with theoretical concepts, fostering a deeper appreciation for the subject. Emphasis on safety protocols ensures responsible handling of chemicals and equipment. Overall, the chemistry lab serves as a vital platform that not only supplements theoretical learning but also ignites a passion for scientific exploration and inquiry among students, preparing them for future scientific endeavors.
