What to do if your child’s name does not appear in the first list?

The Delhi Nursery Admissions 2024-25 are to begin with a bang on November 23rd. The online submission of application forms is to start on November 23rd and will come to a close on December 15th. The 1st list of selected students will be released by the schools on January 12th.

But what if your child’s name does not appear in the 1st list of selected students?

Here’s how you can approach this situation.

  • If your child gets admitted to two or more schools: If your child’s name does not appear in your ideal school’s first list of selected students, check all the other schools’ list that you applied to. If you see that your child has been admitted to two or more of the schools, reserve a seat for him/ her in one of them after a close comparison. If the second list of your ideal school bears your child’s name, you can easily get them admitted there and get your fee refunded from the school where you earlier reserved a seat for them.
  • If your child does not get admitted to any of the schools: If your child’s name does not appear in the first list, don’t panic. The schools are yet to release the second list of selected students on January 29th. While waiting for the 2nd  list, you could also spend some time analyzing which schools your child is likely to get admitted to according to the second list.

How can you be sure that your child’s name will be on the second list?

How can you be sure that your child’s name will be on the second list?

The second list of selected students is slated to be released on January 29th. Here’s how you can be sure that your child’s name is sure to be one among the names in the 2nd list.

  • Start with calculating your child’s admission points. You can use the Points Calculator at Ezyschooling to calculate your points.
  • Now, check to see which schools’ first list points come close to your points. For instance, if you have 70 points and the first list of a school ends with students having 80 points, your child’s name is most likely to appear in that school’s second list.
