More than 1 lakh students turned up for the JNV exam

The Central Board of Secondary Education was able to conduct the JNVST which concluded on November 7th. The exam was attended by a whopping 1.16 lakh students over 579 exam centres across the country.
Despite the risks of the pandemic, CBSE was successful in conducting the test. The test is a part of the second phase of JNVST (winter bound). The exam was the next endeavour taken by CBSE this year after it conducted compartment exams for classes 10 and 12.

JNV is a selection test for students of the fifth standard who are looking to get admitted in the 6th standard this year. CBSE decided to go through with conducting the test and said that it would be a milestone in strengthening the public conviction.
