Celebrating Earth Day

EARTH DAY is celebrated around the world to make an effort in our everyday lives that will make our beautiful planet thrive. CWS celebrated “The Earth Day” through a series of activities on 22nd April. The entire school, whether it was the students or teachers, took part in this “Go- Green initiative”. Saplings were planted to reduce global warming. The teachers showed PowerPoint presentations to remind the students of their duties towards ‘Mother Nature’ and also how they can contribute to the Go Green initiative. They also participated in a craft activity in which they coloured an earth using thumb impressions, Sponge dabbing etc with blue and green colours symbolizing land and water. The tiny tots took an oath to keep their environment clean and plant more trees.

Mother’s Day Celebrations were held on 17th May. Mothers came, along with their little children to be part of the event which was held in the CFS Auditorium. The children as well as their Mothers came beautifully dressed. Mr. Nipun Nijhawan, the MC, conducted the event wonderfully. The audience witnessed a spellbinding Magic Show, along with participating in a game of magical chairs amongst others. The little kids presented a special dance performance for their moms, which added a magical charm to the whole event. It truly became a memorable and beautiful day for all the mothers.
