The classroom is a place where students and teachers spend a considerable amount of time discussing and sharing experiences, making it a place for knowledge sharing. At SNIS, we ensure that our classrooms are spacious with ample natural lighting and good cross-ventilation as per international standards to ensure student health and well-being. Students are imparted education in a modern way using smart boards and white boards so that learning in the classroom is fun and engaging. While our classroom furniture is colorful and stimulating, it is also ergonomically designed to ensure safety and comfort of the students and meets global standards for quality. Class size is restricted to 24 students so that individual attention can be provided to each child. Students and teachers are equipped with laptops to leverage IT integration into the curriculum, enhancing research and collaboration skills and each classroom also has projectors for sharing, exchange and presentations. We also have outdoor classrooms to conduct Outbound Learning Programmes. Research has shown that with the use of an outdoor classroom, students are better engaged and motivated to learn. The main advantage of an outdoor classroom is that it allows children to move freely in an open space and makes learning a multi-sensory experience. By preserving a child’s innate sense of curiosity and wonder we will foster active and engaged life-long learners.

Growing kids need nutritious food and SNIS shares this concern with parents. The day scholars and residential students are served well-balanced, nutritious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, cooked in separate kitchens. The menu is planned by expert dieticians and includes Indian and International cuisines. Premium quality ingredients, bakery products, milk, fruits, vegetables, and purified water are used at all times. A lot of the fruits and vegetables served in the cafeteria are grown in house by the staff and students in the organic garden and orchard ensuring health and abundant nutrition.

Classrooms Dining and Food Transportation Health and Safety Campus Virtual Tour Transport is an important aspect in ensuring smooth transition of students from home to school. At SNIS, we ensure that this transit is hassle free, comfortable and secure. School owned A/C buses are provided. Transportation is provided within a 50km radius of SNIS Drivers and bus staff are selected after a thorough reference check and verification process. Students travelling in the school bus are accompanied by a female staff. Drivers and bus staff are trained in security, safety and etiquette. School buses have GPS system for online tracking. All buses are fitted with CCTV cameras and speed governors to ensure student safety. No school bus will be over crowded. All safety norms are followed. Drop Off and Pick Up will be from as close to home as possible while planning transport routes.

SNIS maintains a zero tolerance policy to any shortcomings in providing safety and security for people on school campus and transport facilities. Orientations and seminars are conducted for the students on various health and hygiene related topics. SNIS has signed an agreement with Sakra Hospital and WhiteCross for any kind of emergency care required by students and staff.
