SNIS Outstanding Achievement Scholarships are awarded to those candidates who demonstrate outstanding academic aptitude, leadership skills and display artistic and/or athletic excellence.
The SNIS Scholarship Program is available to all new applicants for IBDP Grade 11 & 12.
Maximum Award : Students can receive up to 50% of tuition fees through this scholarship.
Number of scholarships : A total of 8 scholarships are offered each year.
Award Distribution : One student will receive a 50% award, while the remaining awards will range between 35% to 25%.
Exclusions : Scholarships cover tuition fees only. Costs such as books, student kit, exam fees, trips, and boarding are excluded.
Eligibility Conditions : All recipients must strictly meet the conditions outlined in the scholarship details.
Scholarship Selection Process
1. Candidate must have a minimum 85% in Grades 9 and 10 or equivalent for Grade 11 (IBDP).
2. Decision on minimum equivalent grade for students coming from different grading system rests solely with SNIS Scholarship Committee.
3. Selection factors will also include :
- Statement of purpose
- Evidence of academic excellence
- Evident leadership qualities
- Significant artistic or athletic achievement
- CSI involvement/volunteerism
- Engagement in school activities
4. The weighting for scholarship is: 60% on the interview & scholarship assessment & 40% on previous academic records.
5. Students whose fees are paid by parents’ companies cannot be considered for Scholarship Program.
6. Decision of Scholarship Committee is final on all scholarships awarded
