K. D. Field Public School was inaugurated on 26th February, 1979 by Late Sh. Bal Kishan Dass Rohatgi amidst Vedic Rites and Haavan. The School aims at catering the educational need of the children of Panchsheel Garden, Yamuna Vihar, Dilshad Garden, Behari Colony, Gandhi Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Naveen Shahdara, Subhash Park, Welcome, Seelampur, Ram Nagar, Loni Road and adjoining colonies and localities. Introducting, 1st to Secondary, in the Year 1996, the management of the school proposes to add one higher class till it reaches the stage of Senior Secondary level under the Secondary Education, New Delhi. The medium of instruction in the School is English and the teaching methodology shall be on the pattern or an ideal Public School. The Governing body of the school cherishes her ideal as light house and promises a selfless sevice to all the parents regardless of caste, colour and creed. Thus the school shall always strive to keep aloft the traditions and values, selfless service to all is our creed, concern and article of faith. The School has no financial or economical with any one so her missions or any other such institution. It is being run by an independent governing body which is inspired by altruistic motives not the commercial gains.
