Sisodia launches skill-enhancing program for English teachers of Delhi govt schools

On Saturday the TESOL Core Certificate Program for English teachers of Delhi government schools was launched by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. The Regional English language office of US embassy is going to be conducting this program. To enhance the country language-teaching ability of the participant teachers the aim of this program, which can improve English teaching in government schools. The present batch is of 50 lecturers.

“It is vital for teachers to stay enhancing their skills. we would like our teachers to try and do the items they already understand otherwise. This course can bring a lot of power in the school rooms.”, said Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Since 2017, around 800 teachers of Delhi government schools are trained by the Regional English language office of the US embassy.

Teaching English to Speakers of Different Languages stands for TESOL. It includes teaching English as a remote language also as a second language in a country wherever the first language is English.
