Takshasila Public School – Admission Procedure 
1. Admission Period
  • Admissions are open from December to June, depending on the availability of seats.
  • Selected candidates must confirm their admission by paying the prescribed fee before the specified date.
2. Application Form
  • The school issues the application form at the school office on all working days between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
3. Registration
  • After filling the application form, parents must submit it at the school office along with the registration fee of ₹800.
  • Please note: Registration does not guarantee admission.

  • Nursery to PP2 (LKG & UKG): An interactive session with the child and parents to understand basic skills

Our esteemed Director, Mrs. Bhagya Laxmi D, is a distinguished leader with an impressive background in the sciences and education. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, which sparked her deep interest in the field of biological sciences. She further pursued a Master’s degree in Microbiology, where her exceptional academic performance earned her the prestigious Gold Medal, a testament to her dedication and excellence.
Her passion for research is evident in her significant contributions to genetics and immunology. She had the privilege of conducting research at the renowned Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) in Nacharam, which provided her with invaluable insights and expertise in these critical scientific domains. In addition to her research pursuits, she has actively participated in various seminars and specialized workshops, including the esteemed Expo Dunamis in medical microbiology, as well as numerous biotechnology and biochemistry workshops, continually expanding her knowledge and skills.
Beyond her scientific pursuits, Mrs. Bhagya Laxmi broadened her horizons by delving into administration and management that equipped her with the leadership and organizational acumen necessary to bridge the gap between scientific expertise and effective management. Driven by an unwavering passion for education, maam found her true calling in the field of teaching. For the past decade, she has served as the Director of Takshasila Public School—an institution she holds close to her heart, having been an alumna herself. Under her visionary leadership, the school has achieved remarkable growth and academic excellence, reflecting her firm belief in education as a transformative force in society.
Her outstanding contributions to the field of education have earned her national recognition. She was honored with the Swami Vivekananda National Director’s Award in Lucknow in 2024 for her innovative and dedicated approach to education. In the same year, she received the Entrepreneur Director of the Year award from the Indian Icon Awards by Kiteskraft India Limited, further acknowledging her leadership and commitment to educational excellence.

Shrimati Tanupreet Kaur born on 8th March 1977 has done her schooling at Saint Maria Goretti High School and Bishop Conrad Senior Secondary School from Bareilly Uttar Pradesh. She did her MSc in chemistry and BEd from Rohilkhand University and MEd from Manipur University.
She also is certified by Lal Bahadur Institute of Management, Quality Circles Chapter Hyderabad and IIM Ahmedabad for Leadership Skills. She had also done CIC from IGNOW University and presently pursuing her Post Graduate Diploma In School Administration. Belonging to ARMY Fraternity she has experience and exposure to various schools in New Delhi, Manipur, Bareilly etc.
She was also the Head of the Sheel group of Institutions for IIT and NEET classes. She has been a part of various workshops organized by the CBSE board in New Delhi. Her total teaching and administrative career is 25 years.
She has been an Examiner and Head Examiner for the Evaluation of both ICSE and CBSE schools. She also has been an Observer for Board exam Practicals. She enjoys Playing Badminton, reading and art and craft and is very good at Painting. She has a great passion for her subject CHEMISTRY.
She believes in imparting practical knowledge to children. According to her teaching and learning can be more effective if it’s child-oriented, learner-centric and activity based. She is a very disciplined person and believes that there is no shortcut to success, only discipline, hard work and dedication can make you reach the pinnacle.

MR YALCHALA MAHIPAL REDDY born on 11th JUNE 1981 has done his schooling at Zilla Parishad Secondary School from Narsapur(G), Nirmal, Telangana. He did his M.Sc. in Mathematics from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur and B.Ed. from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
He is presently pursuing his M.Ed. from Osmania University. He has been a part of various workshops organized by the CBSE board, in New Delhi. He joined our institution on 10th October 2007 as TGT (Physical science) and successfully completed 15 years of his service.
Besides being a teacher and In-charge for Grade 10, He has the unique ability to plan and organize events like interactive sessions with parents and students, Educational (Science) Fairs, Olympiads, Annual Events etc. He has been an Examiner and Additional Head Examiner for the Evaluation of CBSE examinations.
He enjoys watching sci-fi movies, listening to music, Painting and calligraphy. He correctly identifies areas of weakness with individual students, tailoring lessons accordingly to further increase student learning abilities in Physics and chemistry.
He is compassionate and believes in working with passion, commitment and dedication is the key to success. He inspired and motivated the students to lead a productive and effective life.
