St. Gregorios School

Being a minority institution, our mission is to provide the best education to the children, especially to the poor and the lower income group, with a holistic approach in a conducive atmosphere.

St. Gregorios School aims to enkindle a tradition that upholds the excellence of legitimate rights and responsibilities of the society towards having social commitment. The Orthodox Syrian Christian vision of education aspires to form human beings who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically healthy and socially acceptable to be an instrument of equity, justice, love, truth peace and harmony.

St. Gregorios School, an unaided Christian Minority School established in 1981 under the aegis of the Gregorian Orthodox Church Society, Janakpuri, New Delhi has dedicated to the sacred memory of St. Gregorios the great reformer and the Saint of Indian Orthodox Church.

The President of the society his Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Paulose-II, the Supreme Head of the Indian Orthodox Church and the Vice President is H. G. Dr. Youhanon Mar Demetrios, the Bishop, Diocese of Delhi. The school is recognized by the government of NCT of Delhi and affiliated to Central Board ofSecondary Education, New Delhi.
