Bunts Sangha's S M Shetty International School was started in 2008 and is an independent, co-educational international school located in Powai, Mumbai catering to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The school is under the umbrella of Bunts Sangha, Mumbai, which was established in 1927 as a charitable trust devoted to the cause of education, healthcare and social reforms of the downtrodden and underprivileged class of society. Students appear for Cambridge IGCSE examinations in Grade 10 and then can continue with Cambridge A Level or IB Diploma Programme (Grades 11 and 12) The school enrolls both local and international students and has strength of 1200. There are 100 teachers with a student teacher ratio of 12:1The school focuses on transferring skills like problem solving, creative and critical thinking, leadership and enterprise, collaboration and team work and citizenship with a conviction that the skills will enable students to navigate and forge ahead on their journey through life.
