We are at the threshold of a new academic year 2023-24 and at the outset I would like to extend a warm and cordial welcome to all of you to St. Francis De Sales Public School, Electronics City, Bangalore. We have trodden the path that our predecessors laid from its inception from June 2003. The past two decades have been the most decisive factor with regard to infrastructure, qualitative academic discipline, curricular and co-curricular programs. The school has achieved most rewarding and excellent result for the past Eleven glorious years for ICSE and five years for ISC. I would like to congratulate and appreciate the teamwork, commitment and dedication of the entire management team, teaching and non teaching faculty of SFS Family.
My predecessors Rev Fr Vinod, Rev Fr Roy, Rev Fr Johnson and Rev Fr Jabamalai have devoted all their energies to attain the transition of their genius from the exuberance of youth to the mature acceptance of the realities all around them. During their time, the school gained a reputation for innovation and thoroughness. They provided the students with the quintessence of leadership. They carried out their tasks with agile precision. I cannot thank them enough for the radical transformation that they brought about in the school campus. They took the school to its current status as a leading school in Electronic City. “The old order changeth yielding place to new And God fulfills himself in many ways Lest one good custom should corrupt the world”,wrote Alfred Lord Tennyson, explaining how change is the only unchanging reality in the world.
I am honoured to be joining you as the new principal of this esteemed institution and I am excited to begin this new academic year with all of you. As we begin this new academic year, I want to emphasise our commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all our students. We will continue to prioritise the health and well-being of our students and staff, and we will work together to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. We have an exciting year ahead of us, filled with new challenges and opportunities. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to providing the highest quality education to our students, and we will continue to focus on academic excellence, character formation and community engagement.
