R K Modern Sr. Secondary School has a spacious building with a playground, open air theater, and multipurpose lawn-house, junior and senior sections. R K Modern Sr. Secondary School has a well equipped Biology laboratory with all modern amenities and features. It has an extensive range of scientific models, specimens, slides, charts, instruments,equipments and apparatus that cater to the scientific needs of all levels of classes right from the primary to the senior secondary level. Students experience the real sense of biological concepts by carrying out hands-on practicals here. The Biology laboratory also provides a platform for the budding scientists of the senior secondary section to carry out their projects.

A student of science is always inquisitive. The student has lot of unanswered questions. The chemistry lab is the place where lot of unanswered questions come to the fore and are practically demonstrated to the students. All chemistry experiments are conducted here in the most hygienic and safe manner. The lab has all the equipments that support the students’ need for carrying out the project works prescribed by the CBSE for senior classes. Each student is provided with adequate space to work independently in the lab. The lab caters to the needs of the students of senior secondary classes.

The Computer Lab in R K Modern Sr. Secondary School is one of the best and is well equipped as per the CBSE syllabus. The fastest computer with latest software is available for improving computer skill of the students. We have facilities to carry out experiments based on practical on computer in the supervision of skilled teacher, which enhance the knowledge and create an atmosphere of computer thinking among students.

Keeping pace with the relevant changes in the CBSE curriculum the school has introduced a well equipped Maths lab with interesting and appealing activities. The students are motivated to explore Mathematics rather than working out mathematics. It is a variant colourful room where students from class III onwards are engaged in a variety of hand on learning experiences. There are a no. of experiments with colourful paper cutout and paper folding activities which help to clarify simple concepts of points, lines, angles and triangles to the students.

Good education is always followed by healthy and yummy food. Our cafeteria provides a huge variety of food items enriched with full nutrition. The canteen is a great rescue to the tummy’s hunger.

To keep this in mind we have all well equipped smart classrooms. Smart class rooms are technology enhanced classrooms that faster opportunities for teaching and learning by integrating learning technology, such as computers, specialized software audience response, networking and audio/visual capabilities.
