Gitanjali is a group of Five schools, affiliated to both the ISC/ICSE and CBSE Boards. We also offer the Cambridge Assesment International Education (CAIE ). The Gitanjali system of education is designed to maximize the all round development of your child's potential by providing complete academic support while building life skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration and physical skills in a nurturing values based environment for your child to move forward with confidence. Each school is administered independently, however all the schools implement the Gitanjali educational system and maintain the same standards of quality.The Gitanjali Group of Schools was founded in 1985 by Mr. Uma Karan and Dr. Gita Karan. Dr. Gita Karan has been an educator with over 50 years of experience and is a recipient of the National Award for Best Teacher by our then President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Under her leadership, the school has continued to innovate in teaching methodology and cultivate life long learning within our student and teacher community. Dr. Gita Karan even today provides personal attention to oversee the progress of each child enrolled in Gitanjali. Our award winning schools have grown rapidly and are considered among the most prestigious schools in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The curriculum is rich, the standard is high, and the number of students in each class is restricted. Our schools are committed to a smaller student population with available square footage per child on par with large international schools offering personalized teaching and more participation opportunities. The medium of instruction is English. We regard education as a building process. We have a proper plan, a system for efficient implementation of the plan, for checking/follow up and for corrective action when things go wrong. We, at Gitanjali Devakul, are striving to update ourselves with the latest developments by diligently following the guidelines of CBSE from time to time, simultaneously incorporating novelty and creativity that sets our school apart from the rest. We have introduced more science related activities, community service programmes and skill based programmes along with music, dance, yoga and visual arts.  These activities build team spirit, confidence and equip students with necessary life skills that enable them to become responsible and resourceful citizens of India.

Our teachers are well trained in the CBSE system and they have been giving in their best in mentoring the students and enabling them attain their true potential. All learning would go unrecognized without proper qualitative and quantitative assessments. All the assessments are designed keeping in view of the Class 10 Board Assessment pattern and is reviewed from time to time.
