The DAV philosophy of education thrives on using Building as a Learning Aid (BALA), especially for the younger learners. It is believed that children in early childhood assimilate most of their learning from their environments. Therefore, school environments must be rich with information, decorated with colours, and stimulating for children. Our classrooms and activity rooms are themed and painted with conceptual murals. All the classrooms are themed, their walls representing beloved fairy tales, environmental concepts, or fundamental moral values. All rooms are fully air-conditioned as well.

The performing arts act as powerful means for the expression of our thoughts and ideas. We have a beautiful and modern dance room in the school to nurture our young dancing talents, which is appropriately equipped for the teaching and learning of Indian and international dance forms.

Nursery and Kindergarten students enjoy free play in the play area specially designed for them. It is equipped with an age-appropriate Playstation specially curated to develop gross motor skills. For the Primary sections, we have an adventure-based play area that challenges children and helps them grow physically and mentally. The play area features Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Rock Climbing, among other activities. Apart from the free play zones, the school also boasts of a Kids’ Zone designed for imaginative play based on children’s experiences. The zone has a dollhouse, a train set and many other innovative tools for aiding imagination.

Our SOCIAL SCIENCE LAB is a vibrant hub of exploration and learning, designed to bring the study of social sciences to life. Students can explore detailed maps, globes, and models to understand the context of various events and phenomena.
