A properly designed classroom is like a spaceship that takes children on an adventure in learning every day. At Bodhi Taru, we believe that the study environment is one of the most crucial factors for successful and stress-free learning. Our classrooms are resplendent with soothing and vibrant colours and child-friendly, inspirational, and fun motifs. They are well-lit, well-ventilated, and air-conditioned. They are spacious enough for each student to enjoy personal space, and acoustically sound so that the teacher’s voice can reach the very back of the class and no student is left out of class participation. To ensure that students remain free from distractions, rooms have also been made soundproof. Each classroom comes equipped with its own mini-library, group-work area, cubby holes, and first-aid kits. The walls are decorated with friendly murals, posters, and paintings. Moreover, students are encouraged to take ownership for keeping their classrooms clean and tidy, and to adorn their walls with their own artwork.

A book is a child's ticket to the whole universe, and a reading habit developed at an early age stands her or him in good stead throughout life. Our library has over 500 volumes and the number is steadily increasing. Apart from books of knowledge and facts and inspirational books by and about the most motivational people of our times, the library also boasts of a very decent collection different genres of fiction. The library also includes other reading materials like magazines on science and nature and audio-visual aids for an all-round experience. We have a team of friendly, knowledgeable library staff who are not only happy to help students find and discover books they would like, but also make age-appropriate recommendations and introduce children to books that could become lifetime favourites. We also have a Story Corner with read-aloud sessions for younger students and the very popular Bookworm Club where bibliophiles among the students can discuss the books they are reading, give reviews and reports, and suggest books to their peers.

Bodhi Taru seeks to instil in its students a love for aesthetics and beauty and an urge to create. The Art and Craft Room is the perfect environment for children to let loose their imagination and give shape to their ideas. Students are taught sketching, colouring, watercolours, oil painting, clay sculpting, papercraft, threadcraft, and other fun and enriching forms of art and craft. While an instructor is present at all times to guide students, they are encouraged to use their own observations, imagination, and ideas for their creations. Children are also coached to recognize, understand, and appreciate timeless works of art from this country and around the world.

Music is the language of the inexpressible. It is the bridge that reconnects people to themselves and to their surroundings, while alleviating them from the mundane routine of life. Students at Bodhi Taru are taught to love music and dance in all forms, and to polish their musical talents daily with discipline, rigour, and joy. The Music and Dance room has professional music coaches to train students in vocal music (singing) and instruments like the synthesizer, guitar, drums, tabla, and harmonium. We also have a scientifically designed dance floor and a team of extremely talented dance instructors who guide children in informal/freestyle/semi-classical dancing. Dance training is offered to students irrespective of gender, depending on their interests and talents.

The school provides air-conditioned, comfortable buses for children living in a radius of 50 kilometres. The buses are driven by trained, licensed bus drivers and are supervised by female teachers and security guards. The buses are also GPS-monitored, so that at any given point of time, we know exactly where a child is. Moreover, children below 12 years of age are never dropped at their stops except in the presence of a parent or guardian who has been registered with the school. Buses also have first aid kits for minor emergencies during commute.
